Brothers and Sisters,
I am married to a wonderful wife Diane of 35 years, father of two sons and one grandson. I am retired from CPS Energy with 32 years of service. I love the outdoors hunting, fishing, hiking and cycling.
I was raised in Pleasanton Texas for most of my childhood into High school but I graduated from St. Philip’s Catholic Central in Battle Creek Michigan. I continued my education at San Antonio college and St. Philips college completing a Electronics program.
I have been a part of St. Margaret parish for the last 25 years, been a member of ACTS community for about 14 years, I am a Eucharistic Minister and my wife and I are members of the Saint Vincent de Paul ministry which we truly love.
My journey with God started July 18th of 2002 with St. Matthews church here in San Antonio. After this initial retreat I served with the Acts community in many parishes in our archdiocese. I also was a member of a men’s team that lead Day retreats and Lenten retreats in several parishes. I have experienced the Men’s Rites of Passage and several Silent Ignatius retreats. I attended a 2 semester class through Grotto Ministries on Spirituality at the Oblate School of Theology which gave me a real sense of spirituality. After encountering God in this way I began to feel a need for formal instruction. After much prayer and discernment I applied to a three year formation program called St Peter Upon the Water in their Spiritual Direction program. I completed this program in June of 2015.
I truly love the ministry of “one on one” Spiritual Direction. I welcome anyone whom is seeking a closer relationship with God to call the church office for an appointment.
